Aside from great art supplies at hard to beat prices, Utrecht Art Supply in Detroit can offer a lot more! Let me give you some examples...
-Artist Oppurtunities Bulletin Board. We have a great big bulletin board chock full of things to do such as gallery openings. Also artist oppurtunites at local and national galleries. You could get your next show from the pamphlets and flyers we provide.
-Monthly Free Demonstrations. Many different mediums are covered from screen printing to matt cutting to colored pencil, with lots of others in between. Again these are all free to the public. Demonstrations are always on a Saturday, from 12-2pm, one Sautrday out of the month. Coming up we will have a matt cutting demo (Feb. will be skipped due to renovations) and in March we will have a Paper Making demontration.
-Trusted Resources. Any question about any art supplies, techniques, or usage can be answered. All of the exployees at Utrecht Detroit are in the art field, many with their BFA's and some working on their MFA's. Come in and pick our brains!
-ArtSmart. For those who have not already heard of this program, here you go: The ArtSmart card will activate sale prices in the store. Think of it like a Kroger or CVS card. When we activate the ArtSmart card for you, you will get mailings (no more than about 6-7 per year) showing you exactly what is on sale, and what the card works for. You will also recieve some really nice extra coupons (again, we will not clog up your mail box) for either 20% off one item or even 30% off one item, and some others too.
So I hope that you really use our store to fullest extent! Come on in and see us.
